Rotary Club of Chitwan successfully organized a Free Mega Health Camp on 5th November 2025 (Kartik 19, 2082) at Shree Nepal Rastriya Secondary School, Hattibang, Ichchhakamana–1, Chitwan. The event was jointly organized by Rotary Club of Chitwan, College of Medical Sciences, and Global Action Coalition, with the co-organization of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality and Rotaract Club of Chitwan.
The program was chaired by Club President Rtn. Ramchandra Adhikari and coordinated by Rtn. Er. Pradip Bhattarai. Assistant Governor Rtn. Dhan Bahadur Shrestha attended as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Rob Rowan, President of Global Action Coalition, graced the event as a special international guest, adding global significance to the initiative.
The camp aimed to provide accessible and free medical services to residents of remote areas. Services included ENT, Pediatrics, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Dental, General Medicine, and Urology. A total of 550 beneficiaries received free consultations, medicines, and treatment.
A dedicated team of 17 doctors, 1 nurse/HA, 1 pharmacy staff, 1 housekeeping staff, and 4 health assistants from the College of Medical Sciences rendered their services. Active participation of club leaders, past presidents, and Rotaractors made the camp highly successful.
The project’s estimated budget was NPR 250,000. The camp not only provided essential healthcare. The outcome of this project was highly impactful—ensuring that hundreds of rural residents received timely medical attention, awareness on health issues, and access to essential medicines.
