Rotary Club of Chitwan and Yokosuka Rotary Club, Japan signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (2025/26–2027/28) to jointly implement humanitarian projects and strengthen mutual cooperation. The MoU was signed by Rtn. Ramchandra Adhikari, President of Rotary Club of Chitwan, and Rtn. Kazuo Yamashita, President of Yokosuka Rotary Club, in the presence of more than 70 Rotary members.
As part of this partnership, a Clean Drinking Water Project is currently being implemented in Bulingtar–3, Nawalparasi, benefiting 175 households and one school. The program was coordinated by Rtn. Loknath Osti.
The presidents and members of both clubs also paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Yokosuka City, who praised the collaboration and expressed support for future joint social initiatives.
This milestone strengthens the international image and public impact of the Rotary Club of Chitwan.
