On 16th September, 2024 the on Rotary Club of Chitwan initiation the New Interact Club was formed at Green land Public School, Bharatpur-12 The program was conducted under the chairmanship of president Rtn. Bhanu Sharma and the Chief Guests Rtn. Bipin Pokharel, Interact Committee Chair of Rotary District, and Rtn. Surendranath Regmi, Trainer of Zone 6. Additionally, Rtn. Nishant Khandelwal, Interact Coordinator of Rotary Club of Chitwan, and the school’s principal, Indira Karki, also shared their views.
Chief Trainer Rtn. Surendra Nath Regmi provided detailed insights into Rotary and Interact, encouraging students to focus on both personality development and community service while pursuing their studies. During the program, a 13-member committee was formed, with Bidushi Karki appointed as chairperson. The elected president, Happy Paudel, alongside vice president Gopal Bhandari, secretary Tanuja Kadel, treasurer Sahil Tharu, joint secretary Purnima Mandal, and other members, were entrusted with the leadership of the newly formed club. The event concluded with President Rtn. Bhanu Sharma discussing the future projects of the Rotary Club of Chitwan, expressing gratitude to all attendees, and presenting a token of appreciation to the school. The formation of the Interact Club will foster leadership and a spirit of service among the students, contributing to both their personal growth and their community involvement.
