On 13th February 2025, Rotary Club of Chitwan and Rotaract Club of Chitwan jointly organized a Regular Health Camp at Rotary Karunalaya Old Age Home. The camp aimed to provide free health check-ups and medication distribution to elderly residents.
A total of 30 senior citizens underwent health screenings conducted by Dr. Sagun Pokhrel and Dr. Niraj Shah. Essential medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries based on their medical needs. The initiative focused on ensuring preventive care and addressing common health concerns.
Rotary Club of Chitwan President Rtn. Bhanu Sharma, as the chief guest, emphasized the club’s commitment to continuing periodic health check-ups for the elderly at Karunalaya.
The initiative not only ensured timely medical attention for the elderly but also strengthened Rotary’s humanitarian outreach. Such programs play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens by providing continuous care and support. Senior citizens express their gratitude to Rotary, its medical team, and Rotaract for their commendable work.
