A three-day “Master of Ceremony (MC) Training Program” was successfully organized from May 9 to 11, 2025 (Baisakh 26 to 28, 2082) at the Synergy FM Hall, in joint collaboration between the Rotary Club of Chitwan, Spouse Club of RC Chitwan, and WEAN (Women Enterpreneur Association Nepal) Chitwan. The training aimed to enhance public speaking and program-hosting skills among women participants.
The event was chaired by Ms. Sweta Upadhyay, President of WEAN Chitwan, with Rotarian Bhanu Sharma, President of Rotary Club of Chitwan, serving as the chief guest, and Ms. Parbati Bagale, President of the Spouse Club of RC Chitwan, as the special guest. The training was conducted by Mr. Rabin Subedi, Station Manager of Synergy FM, who provided in-depth sessions focusing on voice modulation, word selection, body language, time management, and handling unforeseen situations during events.
A total of 29 women participants, including 9 spouses from Spouse Club of RC Chitwan and 20 women entrepreneurs, actively participated in the training. The program was designed to boost confidence and provide practical knowledge and skills for effective public speaking and anchoring in formal programs and public platforms.
The training was highly appreciated, with participants gaining essential communication and presentation skills. Chief guest Sharma emphasized that the training would empower women, build mutual understanding, and contribute to enhancing their professional competencies.
