On 19th Shrawan 2082 ( August 4, 2025, Monday), under the chairmanship of Rtn. Dr. Manohar Pradhan, coordinator of Rotary Pun Narayan Ujeli Devi Cardio Care Center, the weekly heart disease screening program was launched on the second floor of Rotary Club of Chitwan’s own building. This service has been started with the objective of identifying heart-related problems in time and providing necessary treatment.
The program was inaugurated by Assistant Governor of Zone 34, Rtn. Dhan Bahadur Shrestha, by handing over health examination equipment to Rtn. Dr. Manoj Shrestha. On this occasion, 19 children from Sano Ghar underwent heart check-ups.
The specialty of this program lies in its regularity—conducted every Monday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM—and its accessibility to people of all age groups. The service is currently offered free of cost, with plans to expand to six days a week at a minimal fee.
